Panginoon, tunay na pinagmumulan ng liwanag at karunungan, pagkalooban mo ako ng matalas na pang-unawa, ng kakayahang magsaulo ng mga aralin at unawain ang mga ito ng wasto at tama.

Pagkalooban mo ako ng biyayang maging maayos sa aking mga paliwanag at ng kakayahang ipahayag ang aking sarili nang lubos at maliwanag.  Samahan mo ako sa simula ng aking pag-aaral, gabayan mo ang pag-unlad nito hanggang sa ito ay matapos ko.

God Approaches Us Men

Ang mga bata ay:

  • Maunawaan ang tapat na pag-ibig ng Diyos sa pamamagitan ng Katesismo.
  • Madama ang pag-ibig ng Diyos sa kahalagahan ng pagtugon sa kanyang tawag bilang Bayan ng Diyos.
  • Mapasalamatan ang Diyos sa pagbubuklod Niya sa atin sa pagdarasal at pagsimba at pangaraw-araw na pamumuhay.
Panalangin bago mag-aral:

Ama Namin, Salamat po sa araw na ito . Kami po iyong gabayan sa aming pagaaral ngayon upang lubos pa namin kayong makilala. Nawa’y mapakita namin sa inyo ang aming pagmamahal sa isip, sa salita at sa gawa. Ito’y hinihiling namin sa ngalan ng iyong anak na si Jesus. Amen.

Sitwasyon ng buhay:   

Pagpapakilala sa sarili, ibabahagi ang araw ng kaarawan, kung ano ang kakayahan at kahinaan, at kung ano ang pangarap sa buhay.



Mahalaga na makilala ang sarili at ang isa’t-isa.  Sa pagpapakilala nalalaman natin kung anong pangalan, kelan ang kaarawan, at kung ano ang ating mga pangarap.  Pag nakilala na natin ang isa’t isa upang maging magkaibigan, maari na tayo makabuo ng magandang relasyon at ituring na ang bawat isa bilang magkakapamilya. 

Ang Diyos ang unang unang nakakakilala sa atin at nagpakilala sa atin,  tinawag tayo ng Diyos bilang kanyang mga anak at siya ay nagpahayag ng Kanyang sarili.

Assessment FOR Learning is an assessment with the "heart". It is assessment that holds the hands of students towards the success of learning. Not an assessment from the outside but an assessment that guides and understands students through the journey of learning. It is like building a road or laying down stepping stones for students to step forward or move forward to their goal to learn. A scaffolding to set a framework to build students to be a successful learner. It moulds the students according to their uniqueness and capabilities not in comparison with others but as where they are in their goals. It is a personal approach to assessment because the teacher needs to know their students not just by name but who they are as a learner.

Assessment FOR Learning provides a clear picture of the goal to be able to guide the student to reach the goal through monitoring their progress and motivating them to achieve such goal. It would require an active participation of the students on their own assessment and achievement. It is a progressive assessment and is not constraint of time but should be done while the student is learning.

Learning Style

Knowing about learning style is important both as a learner and as a teacher. Learning style is the way in which an individual approach, process and apply his learning. Each of us is uniquely different in the way we think, act and express ourselves. Being aware of our learning style helps us work with our strengths and work on our weaknesses. When the learning-teaching approach didn’t match the learning style of an individual, effective learning would be difficult to achieve.

There are different learning styles from several models. The various models presented the uniqueness of individual based on the factors which can influence his learning. The factors can be perceptual, expressive, contrasting, relational, and/or motivational. 

Learning Experience

Everyday is a new learning. When an experience has created a permanent change to an individual to become better, then that is learning. And I consider that each day should be a learning event even in minute circumstances in daily living.

I would say self-examination at the end of the day is a good practice of evaluating what one learned from an experience. If this is used to inspire us to make things better, then it is a learning experience. This is how I perceive learning in practical realities, but I think it is different learning in a formal setting.

In a formal setting, the usual experience is one learns from the knowledge or skills given by the teacher but may not be giving an opportunity to experience or facilitate learning in a reflective way. The methods would be depending on the subject to be learned, but it can be validated through the degree earned or the license gained which is an evident of learning even if it’s done in a traditional way wherein knowledge and skills were just given.
